• The development of this mod started on July 15, 2023. Initial ideas and concepts were pitched in 2020 though the experimentation phase wasn't followed by actual development due to the lack of reverse engineering skills to understand important parts of the code at the time.
• The project's code name is Revolution Forest Plus, abbreviated as RVFP. This references the original game's code name Revolution Forest, often mentioned as rvforest or rvl_forest.
• The first of the many new villagers to be finished was Rudy, a jock cat villager originally introduced in New Leaf.
• Tia, Eugene, Cece and Viché were originally rejected due to their designs not being fully representable using the models from the base game. However, they were added despite their missing accessories as there are other characters in the game that lack special items found in other games.
• Originally, pictures of Tom Nook and Pelly were meant to be obtainable as special rewards, however, they were cut very late into development and replaced by more interesting items that were not available in the base game.
• There are no villagers with birthdays on February 29 and October 31.
